How it holds
It clicks. That is the whole mechanism.
Most desk organisers decide once, in a factory, what you will need forever. NEXO decides nothing. It gives you a grid and a set of parts that press into it.
The Starter Kit — 4 × 3 cells, 168 × 144 mm. The full base is 6 × 4.
The base does the holding
Every cell has two thin walls that flex. Every module foot is a 35.6 mm square that presses between them, and the feet that matter carry a bead that catches as it passes. Press a module down and it clicks. Tip it toward you and it comes off.
Nothing to buy, nothing to glue
No magnets, no screws, no inserts, no adhesive. The earlier versions of this used all of those and each one failed a tilt test or added a part you could lose. The spring is printed into the base, so there is nothing to run out of.
Any cell, any way round
A module is 42n − 0.5 mm across, so it claims whole cells with half a millimetre of air to its neighbours. Turn it ninety degrees and it still lands on feet, still clicks, still sits flush.

The Starter Kit fills its base on day one. Everything after it is a module you add when you find you want it — which is the point of a grid.

Phone Stand
2×2Charges the phone with your own USB-C cable.
A 27 mm pocket takes practically any USB-C plug, and the cable is laid into a slot that runs out the back rather than threaded through a hole. Four spacers handle short plugs. Two diagonal grip feet hold it down when you pull the phone off one-handed.

Pen Holder

The tallest part of the Starter Kit. One grip foot is enough: filled with pens it survives a 45° tilt, which is the test that killed the magnet version of this design.

The long shallow one — keys, cards, coins, whatever comes out of a pocket at the end of the day. Half the Starter Kit's base by area, and it stays put upside down.

Four cells, 2 mm walls, the same height as the Essentials Tray so the two read as one surface when they sit side by side.

Card Stand
2×1About thirty visiting cards, leaning 15°.
Sized for standard 89 × 51 mm cards with a thumb notch to lift one out. The cards overhang about 7 mm to the left, so it wants the left edge of the base.

Cable Clip
2×1Five cable ends, held by their necks.
Keyhole seats at 3.2, 4.0, 4.8, 4.0 and 3.2 mm, each with a neck three-quarters of its width, and relief slots behind them so the walls can flex as a cable goes in. The lowest module in the range.

Drawer Unit
2×2A flat top with a drawer under it.
Four cells that read as a plain block until the drawer comes out. The front is flush, with a finger notch instead of a handle, and the drawer runs on 0.4 mm of side clearance with nothing to stop it coming all the way out.

Glasses Rest
2×2Folded glasses, leaning on a 12° back.
A ledge at 48 mm with a lip to stop them sliding, and a back panel to lean on. Glasses are about 140 mm across, so they overhang: put this on the right edge next to something low.

Controller Stand
2×1PS5, Xbox, Switch Pro — the post fits between the handles.
The tallest thing in the range, and the only one shaped for its own sake: a rounded post that twists 90° on its way up to a cradle leaning back 15°. Every underside is at 45° or shallower, so it prints without supports.

Looks like a solid block.Until you pull the front.
Four cells, 45 mm tall, with a drawer running on four tenths of a millimetre of side clearance. The front is flush and the only thing breaking it is a finger notch — no handle, no tab, nothing to catch a sleeve on.

Most things on a desk are designed to be put down once. These are designed to be picked up, moved and put back somewhere else — which changes what every edge, gap and spring has to do.

- What it takes to pull a one-foot module off the base, measured rather than guessed. The phone stand has two feet and takes about twice that — enough that unplugging USB-C one-handed does not lift it.
